The Amala I had was very soft, hot and wrapped in a foil to maintain the hotness during transit. The soup (gbegiri and ewedu)was delicious and tastes really good. The whole meal I ordered was worth the money paid both in quantity and quality. I didn't regret it. Would Surely re order again.

Finally tried Joloff rice for the first time! Akin's did not disappoint. It was delicious! Staff are okay. A welcoming smile would be appreciated but they were still courteous. The place is clean, bright and cool in the summer.

Akin's is great, it's exactly the African restaurant I've been looking for. The portions are huge and filling, and the food is actually delicious. I had the asun and the jollof and it was almost too much food. Definitely one to go when you're hungry.

Food came soo hot! Forsure my favorite meal this week, The Cassava Fufu, jute leaves molokhia and Ewedu soup and assorted meats was incredible. Everything was well seasoned , I'm coming back!

I was craving Jollof Rice and originally went to a place that sevres already prepared Jollof Rice but it was closed. Went to Akins and I do not regret it. The pricing was fair; I got the Chicken Jollof Rice and a drink and paid under 20. The portioning was good; I probably would have had some left over but I was hungry and it left me full and satisfied.

First time trying this restaurant. The owner and a customer greeted me warmly and even suggested a vegetarian dish to try. It came with the softest buns I have ever eaten! The dish of plantain and beans was spicy, which I thoroughly enjoyed! Glad I stopped in. Will definitely be back!

I go here every week for the pounded yam with smoke turkey cow skin goat meat vegetables omg so delicious I crave there food ..and the waitress is very friendly and helpful always a delight too eat here and the restaurant is very clean definitely recommend this restaurant
